What would you do with a $1,000 shopping spree at Fred Meyer right before the holiday season? Use it for loved ones, spending lavishly for what they have always wanted? Use it for yourself by buying the plasma TV you've always wanted? Or, would you spend the grand on extra potatoes and gravy for the Thanksgiving feast and invite the whole neighborhood? It certainly sounds like a good problem to have.

This season, Fred Meyer and the Chiefs will burden one fan with those problems through the Fred Meyer Shop with the Chiefs Giveaway on Saturday, November 18th when Spokane hosts the Kamloops Blazers. Six contestants will be chosen to battle for the right to win the $1,000 shopping spree, have their favorite Chief carry the bags and donate $500 to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Fans are encouraged to sign up at participating Fred Meyer stores between November 6th and 16th. Five finalists will be selected from the entries at Fred Meyer stores while one finalist will be selected from the entries at the Chiefs game. Participants must be 18 or older to be eligible.

Ticket to all home games are available by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.
