Ty France capped a thrilling two-run, ninth inning rally by singling off the wall in left center field to give the El Paso Chihuahuas their sixth walk-off victory of the season, 8-7 over Las Vegas.

8,918 people saw a back and forth affair at Southwest University Park, with three lead changes. Shane Peterson went 3-for-4, while Raffy Lopez reached base four times and Javy Guerra hit his 12th home run of the season to lead the Chihuahuas offense. Colin Rea returned from the DL and made his first start since July 30, pitching three scoreless innings, while striking out four. Kyle McGrath tossed a scoreless ninth, picking up his sixth win of the season, tops among El Paso relievers.

France's walk-off single made it two nights in a row that the third baseman has had the game winning hit. With Sunday night's win, the Chihuahuas improved to 73-52, with the 21 games over .500 marking the most games over .500 El Paso has ever been. The Chihuahuas have now swept three straight home series and have won 13 games in a row at home.
