LAS VEGAS: The Las Vegas 51sPROFESSIONAL baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will open a brief three-game homestand against the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, on Tuesday, August 21 at Cashman Field. The three-game series will conclude on Thursday, August 23 and all games in the series will begin at 7:05 p.m.
The 51s, under manager Tony DeFrancesco, concluded a seven-game road trip on Sunday evening in El Paso, Texas, against the first-place (Pacific Southern Division) Chihuahuas, Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres.
The PCL has a scheduled off day on Monday, August 20.
The 51s organization have the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in the state of Nevada.
2018 CASHMAN FIELD ATTENDANCE: In 60 dates, Las Vegas total is 277,169 for an average of 4,619. The season-high crowd is 9,321 vs. Salt Lake on July 3 for the Fireworks Extravaganza! The Las Vegas franchise has reached the 300,000 mark in "home" attendance in all 35 seasons (1983-2017). The all-time attendance total now stands at 11,945,956.
MiLB Es Divertido Ser Un Fan - "It's Fun To Be A Fan Campaign!" The 51s will transform to the Las Vegas Reyes de Plata ("Silver Kings") eight times during the 2018 season at Cashman Field. The opener of the homestand against Salt Lake on Tuesday, August 21 will feature Reyes de Plata! The remaining date is Tuesday, August 28.
MiLB (on July 24, 2017) launched Es Divertido Ser Un Fan, a new multi-cultural fan engagement platform aimed at specifically connecting with Hispanic/Latino baseball fans in 160 markets throughout the U.S. and Canada. The program debuted in August of 2017 in select MiLB markets, including Las Vegas, Charlotte, North Carolina; Kane County, Illinois; and Visalia, California, with national expansion in the 2018 season. The Las Vegas Reyes de Plata will take the field celebrating the city and state's pioneering history at the forefront of the precious metal mining business that continues to define the Silver State today.
Budweiser Dollar Beer Night, presented by Laughlin, will be featured in the finale of the three-game series against the Bees on Thursday, August 23. Dollar Beer Night will be featured at every Thursday home game during the 2018 season. The final Dollar Beer Night of the season is Thursday, August 30. Proper identification and wristbands are required for dollar beer night.
WestStar Credit Union "Winning Wednesday" will be featured SEVEN times during the 2018 season. The remaining dates are: August 22 vs. Salt Lake & August 29 vs. Tacoma.
If the 51sWIN, fans can redeem their tickets for a future Sunday through Tuesday "home" game. In addition, each "WestStar Winning Wednesday," one lucky fan will also be randomly selected to be the WestStar Winner of the Game! The winning fan will receive an autographed baseball from a 51s player, a seat upgrade for their group, and the opportunity to become the guest PA announcer for a half-inning that night!
Salt Lake's roster features three of the top 10 prospects in the Angels organization, according to Baseball America: first baseman Matt Thaiss (No. 8); right-handed pitcher Griffin Canning (No. 9) and outfielder Michael Hermosillo (No. 10).
Following the homestand, the 51s will embark on their final road trip of the regular season in Northern California to face the Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, in a four-game series from Friday-Monday, August 24-27.
The 51s will broadcast all games on Lotus Broadcasting on NBC Sports Radio AM 920 'THE GAME', which will carry live all 140 regular season games. Also, all games will be available on the 51s website (Major League Baseball Advanced Media, MLBAM) at www.LV51.com. Russ Langer, the 10-time Nevada Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA), is in his 19th season behind the microphone calling 51s baseball.
All 51s games (home & away) will also be broadcast on MiLB.TV via LV51.com.
Tickets for all 51s home games can be purchased at the SCE Federal Credit Union Box Office at Cashman Field. The box office is open Monday-Friday (non-game days) from Noon to 4:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com).
The individual game tickets for the 70-game home season are priced at $11.00 (reserved, $12.00-Day of Game); $14.00 (plaza, $15.00-Day of Game) and $17.00 (field, $18.00-Day of Game) & the blue dugout seats at $30.00 ($35-Day of Game). The traditional $2.00 discount for Military personnel is offered on plaza, field and reserved seats throughout the season.
LAS VEGAS BALLPARK 2019 SEASON TICKET DEPOSITS:
Fans can reserve their spot in the new Las Vegas Ballpark by placing a season ticket deposit for just $100 per seat; $100 per seat for club seat and $100 for a group event.

Customers who place a deposit will be able to select their seats after current 51s season ticket holders. Deposit priority will be based on the time and date of deposit.
Inventory is limited on season tickets and the opportunity to purchase will be determined on a first come - first served basis. Priority order is based on 2018 season ticket holders, followed by customers who make a $100 deposit and finally the general public.
The $100 deposit will be kept on the customer's account to secure the priority. At the date of the purchase, the deposit will be applied towards the total cost of the season tickets or group event. All deposits are refundable if customers decide not to purchase tickets.
NOTE: For fans that are currently a SEASON TICKET HOLDER or GROUP BUYER, there is no need to place a deposit for the 2019 season.
