
Fox Sports Arizona to Carry Three Upcoming Mercury Home Games

Phoenix - The Phoenix Mercury today announced that Fox Sports Arizona will telecast three additional Phoenix Mercury home games in the remainder of the 2010 season. Kevin Ray, in his 13th season as broadcaster for the Phoenix Mercury, will provide play-by-play alongside color analyst and former WNBA player Kayte Christensen for the following three contests:
* Thursday, July 1 vs. Washington at 7 p.m.
* Wednesday, July 14 vs. Seattle at 12:30 p.m. (will re-air at 7 p.m.)
* Sunday, August 1 vs. Chicago at 3 p.m.
Fox Sports Arizona has teamed up with the Mercury on two other occasions this season for the matchups on June 10 vs. Minnesota and June 20 vs. Connecticut.
Led by reigning WNBA MVP Diana Taurasi, the Mercury is once again leading the league in scoring with 91.8 points per game. The club returns from a three-game road trip to take on the Mystics on Thursday followed by a matchup with former Mercury guard Cappie Pondexter and the New York Liberty on Saturday at 7 p.m. at US Airways Center.
