"We're thrilled to bring our exciting brand of basketball and fan-friendly events to NBA All-Star Weekend for the 4th consecutive year," said Dan Reed, NBA D-League President. Last season in Phoenix, Courtney Sims, the eventual 2009 NBA D-League MVP and current Iowa Energy center and Blake Ahearn, the 2008 NBA D-League Rookie of the Year and current point guard for the Bakersfield Jam, were Co-MVPs of the game, while James White took home the slam dunk championship. Ahearn also left Phoenix with the three-point contest victory.
