Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Bowie Baysox slugged four solo home runs on their way to a 5-3 win over the Senators Thursday night at FNB Field. Bowie scored three runs in the first inning with two coming on solo home runs. Harrisburg tallied all three of their runs and all four of their hits in the fifth inning.
ON CAPITAL HILL
Steven Fuentes made his second rehab start for the Senators and went 5.1 innings allowing five runs, all earned. He was touched for four solo home runs. He struck out four and walked two.
Reid Schaller followed Fuentes going 1.2 innings and striking out three.
Carlos Navas went two innings and retired all six batters he faced with four strikeouts.
WITH THE GAVEL
Jordy Mercer and Cole Freeman both singled in the fifth inning. Aldrem Corredor and Rhett Wiseman both doubled in the fifth with Corredor driving in one and Wiseman driving in two.
ON DECK
The Senators and Bowie Baysox play game five of their seven-game series Friday at 7:00 p.m. at FNB Field. The games can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Harrisburg 96.5FM 95.3FM and 1400AM beginning at 6:40 p.m.
