The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned left wings RAMZI ABID (RAM-zee a-BIHD) and KARL STEWART to the Chicago Wolves.
ABID collected one assist and two penalty minutes in two games with the Thrashers after being recalled on Friday. The 25-year-old forward leads the Wolves with 17 goals, 17 assists and 34 points in 32 games. He shares seventh in the American Hockey League with a team-most nine power-play tallies.
STEWART has racked up 11 penalty minutes in six games with Atlanta this year, including nine PIMs in three contests during his most recent call-up. The Aurora, Ontario, native is tied for fourth on Chicago with nine goals and ranks sixth on the squad with 64 penalty minutes in 28 games.
