
Forward Zach Houben Commits to 67's

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's have announced that forward Zach Houben has signed an Ontario Hockey League scholarship and development agreement with the team, today.
"Zach impressed our staff at training camp with his size, skating, and spirited play," said 67's General Manager James Boyd. "We are excited that Zach has committed to the 67's, and look forward to supporting his development."
Houben, 16, was drafted in the fifth round, 102nd overall by Ottawa in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. A product of Stratford, Ontario, he suited up in 33 games with the Huron Perth Lakers U16 AAA squad, scoring eight goals and 13 assists, for 21 points, and also seeing action in four games with the U18 Lakers.
The 67's begin their four-game preseason schedule on Sunday, with a 2:00pm visit to the Kingston Frontenacs.
