Faulkner Scores in Debut as Petes Fall to IceDogs in Preseason Opener

(St. Catharines, ON) - The Peterborough Petes kicked off their 2023 OHL Preseason schedule on Saturday, September 4 as they traveled to St. Catharines to take on the Niagara IceDogs. The IceDogs would win the game by a score of 7-1.
Brennan Faulkner led the way for the Petes, scoring the lone goal in his preseason debut. Jax Dubois picked up the assist on the goal. Earlier in the day, Faulkner was one of four players that the Petes signed to OHL Scholarship and Development Agreements. Quinn Binnie, Joseph Cadorin, Carson Cameron, Liam Ladds, Brody Partridge, and Dylan Woulds would also make their Petes preseason debuts in the game.

The Petes are back in action on Monday, September 4 for their first of three home preseason games held at local arenas. They host the rival Oshawa Generals at the Jack Burger Sports Complex in Port Hope, with puck drop scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Tickets can still be purchased. For fans who can not attend, the game will be streamed live on the Petes Facebook Page.
