
Petes Sign Four Players to OHL Scholarship and Development Agreements

(Peterborough, ON) - Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that the team has signed Brennan Faulkner, Brody Partridge, Brayden Velliaris, and Dylan Woulds to OHL Scholarship and Development Agreements.
Faulkner, a London, ON native, was selected in the first round, 6th overall by the Petes in the 2022 OHL U18 Priority Selection. The 5'10", 2005-born forward played in 48 games for the Strathroy Rockets of the GOJHL last season, scoring 21 goals and adding 36 assists for 57 points. Faulkner also featured in four playoff games for the Rockets, picking up four assists. After the 2022-23 season, Faulkner was selected to the GOJHL Western Conference All-Rookie Team.

Partridge, a forward from Picton, ON, was selected in the 13th round, 249th overall by the Petes in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection. Last season, Partridge featured in 35 games for the Peterborough Petes U18s, scoring 15 times and adding 13 assists for 28 points. The 5'9", 2006-born forward also played in three games for the PJCHL's Picton Pirates, scoring twice and picking up two assists.
"It feels amazing to be a Pete." said Partridge. "It's a dream come true and I can't wait to hit the ice and get started."
Velliaris, a 2005-born defenceman, has played the last two seasons with the Mississauga Chargers of the OJHL. In 50 games last season, the 6'2", Toronto, ON native scored two goals and added an assist for three points, while also picking up 121 PIMS. In 2021-22, Velliaris played for the Mississauga Senators U18s, while also suiting up in 24 games for the Chargers.

Woulds, a 6' defenceman, was a 14th round pick, 269th overall by the Petes in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection out of the Markham Majors U16s. The 2006-born, Burlington, ON native featured in 33 games for the Peterborough Petes U18s last season, scoring six times and adding nine assists for 15 points. Woulds also suited up for five playoff games with the team, scoring five goals and an assist for six points.
