(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans Vice President of Hockey Operations Ted Nolan announced today that veteran forward *Mike York *underwent successful knee surgery and is expected to make a full return to the lineup in three to four weeks.

"Mike has been dealing with knee issues all season long and it has come to a point where he could not skate on it," said Nolan. "We as an organization felt his best option was to undergo surgery in order to fix the problem and we expect him to make an immediate return in three to four weeks time. We are looking forward to his speedy recovery and helping us down the stretch," added Nolan.

York, 32, who had his knee scoped to remove several pieces of scar tissue and debris, has been out of the lineup since December 5th.
