Moose Sign Kashirsky To PTO

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have signed forward Nikita Kashirsky to a professional tryout contract.

Kashirsky, 24, has played in 36 games with the South Carolina Sting Rays of the ECHL so far this season. In that span, he has collected 31 points (17g & 14a) along with 28 penalty minutes. He collected a pair of assists in last night's ECHL All-Star Game held in Ontario, CA as Kashirsky's American Conference beat the National Conference 10-9 in a shootout.

The Moscow, Russia native made his AHL debut with the Springfield Falcons this season where he collected three points (1g & 2a) in his nine game stint. Previously, he played in 110 career NCAA games in four seasons (2005-09) with Norwich University where he racked up 144 career points (73g & 14a) and 111 penalty minutes.
