
Forward Brandon Alderson and Defenseman Maxim Lamarche Reassigned to Lehigh Valley

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Brandon Alderson and defenseman Maxim Lamarche have been recalled by the Flyers from the Royals and reassigned to Lehigh Valley.
Alderson, a second year pro from Oakville, Ontario, was loaned by the Phantoms to the Royals on November 28, 2014. In fourteen games with Reading, Alderson has registered seven points (3g-4a) and seventeen penalty minutes. In seventeen games with Lehigh Valley, Alderson has four points (2g-2a) and twenty-eight penalty minutes. This marks the second call-up of the year for Lamarche, a second year pro from Laval, Quebec. In twenty-five games with Reading, Lamarche has seven points (1g-6a) and thirteen penalty minutes. He leads all defensemen on the team in plus-minus at plus-10 (+10). In three games with the Phantoms, Lamarche has one point (0g-1a) and two penalty minutes.

NEXT UP: The Royals travel to Evansville and Indianapolis, Indiana for back-to-back games against the Evansville Icemen (Friday) and Indy Fuel (Saturday). On Friday, the Royals visit Ford Center in Evansville to take on the Icemen for the third time this year. Friday's broadcast can be heard live on CBS SportsRadio 1240 am and 98.5 in Reading, Pennsylvania, starting with the pre-game warm-up show presented by Highmark Blue Shield at 7:45 pm Eastern Time. As with all Royals' road games, Friday's match-up against the Icemen will be televised locally in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on BCTV courtesy of Boscov's Travel and Apple Vacations.
