Forward Austin Wagner heads to the NHL, goaltender Cole Kehler re-joins Reign

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, NHL affiliate of the Ontario Reign, have recalled forward Austin Wagner from Ontario. Additionally, the Kings have assigned goaltender Cole Kehler to the Reign.

The 21-year-old Wagner (born June 23, 1997) is a 6-1, 178-pound native of Calgary, Alberta who appeared in eight games earlier this season with the Kings, going scoreless with two penalty minutes. He played his first NHL game this season, Oct. 5 vs. San Jose. Wagner has amassed two goals from four AHL games with Ontario.

The 20-year-old Kehler (born May 13, 1996) is a 6-4, 205-pound native of Altona, Manitoba who has appeared in one game for the Manchester Monarchs (ECHL) this season. He stopped 28 shots in a loss, posting a .903 save percentage and 3.05 goals-against average in his first professional game.
