
Fort Worth acquire Billings, waives Dorsey

GREENVILLE, S.C., December 16 - The Fort Worth Flyers have acquired center Nick Billings from the NBA Development League available player pool and waived guard Daryl Dorsey due to injury.
Billings, 7-0, 255, will be wearing his third D-League uniform this season. Drafted by the Roanoke Dazzle in the fifth round (37th overall) of the 2005 D-League Draft, Billings was released by the Dazzle on November 17 prior to playing a regular season game. He was acquired by the Fayetteville Patriots on November 22 and played in two games, averaging 7.5 minutes, 2.0 points and 1.5 rebounds before being waived on December 6.
Dorsey was selected in the 7th round (51st overall) by Fort Worth in the 2005 D-League Draft. He played in seven games for the Flyers, averaging 14.3 minutes, 5.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
