Fort Collins native stays with Eagles

WINDSOR, CO- The Central Hockey League Champion Colorado Eagles have reached an agreement with another member of the inaugural team, Fort Collins native Lee Arnold. Arnold, is one of seven players from the original team to resign in Colorado this season, and becomes the eleventh player from the championship team to commit.

Lee Arnold was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and played youth hockey in the area. The 6-2, 215-pound forward played in five games with the Colorado Eagles in 2004-05 scoring a goal Friday, March 8, in a 4-2 loss to Lubbock. During the inaugural 2003-04 season, he appeared in 23 games, scoring a goal in his first professional game against the New Mexico Scorpions on November 14, 2003. He added an assist later that season, and has one goal and two assists in 28 professional games.

Prior to playing with the Eagles, he spent three seasons with the University of Findlay in Ohio. In his three seasons at Findlay he racked up 142 penalty minutes, scored 16 goals and added 10 assists in 79 games.

Individual game tickets for all 32 regular season games and both exhibition games go on sale this Saturday, September 24 at 10 a.m. Tickets for single games are $18 and $23 for club seats plus applicable service charges.
