SteelHounds introduce McDonald's family section

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO -Youngstown SteelHounds General Manager, George Manias, announced today that the SteelHounds and McDonalds have joined together for the upcoming season to present the McDonald's Family Section located in the Youngstown Convocation Center.

"McDonalds is very pleased to partner with the SteelHounds," said Joe Woods, McDonald's Regional Marketing Manager. "We are all about affordable options for families and know that with our promotions with the SteelHounds that they have the same interest in mind. The team's community presence coupled with McDonald's local awareness is a perfect match and we know this year and in the future that everyone in the Mahoning Valley will be SteelHounds hockey fans."

The McDonald's Family Section is located in section 208 and consists of 260 seats. Tickets for the McDonald's Family Section will be the least expensive seats available for SteelHounds games costing just $8.00.

Fans that purchase McDonald's Family Section ticket packages during Tuesday and Wednesday night SteelHounds home games will receive four tickets in the McDonald's Family Section along with four McDonald's Extra Value Meal vouchers. Fans interested in purchasing their seats in the McDonald's Family Section can do so on October 3rd when SteelHounds individual game tickets go on sale.

"McDonald's brings the Mahoning Valley the opportunity to experience professional hockey and enjoy great value when visiting their restaurants," said Manias. "We are very pleased to present a great atmosphere in our entire arena during our games but especially in the McDonald's Family Section where fans will get the experience of a lifetime at the best cost value. With a good portion of our seats priced at $8.00, McDonalds will now truly present SteelHounds hockey to our fans as fun affordable family entertainment."

As a benefit to sitting in the McDonald's Family Section, fans will receive an alcohol-free, fan-friendly place to watch the SteelHounds that includes "French Fry Thunder Sticks" for all McDonald's Family Section fans as well as the most Crusher appearances and giveaways of any section in the arena.
