Former Rocket Swetlikoff Lands AHL Deal

The Henderson Silver Knights announced yesterday, August 19, that the Silver Knights have signed former Kelowna Rocket Alex Swetlikoff to a two-year AHL contract.

The 6'3, 188-pound centreman appeared in 111 games for Kelowna over three seasons from 2018/19 to 2020/21, collecting 54 points (25G, 29A), 70 penalty minutes and a -19 plus-minus rating.

He was dealt last August along with a 2023 sixth-round pick to the Everett Silvertips in exchange for Max Graham.

During his overage season with Everett, Swetlikoff played in 68 games, posting 33 goals, a team-leading 84 points, and a plus-19 rating. The Kelowna, British Columbia product ranked tenth in the WHL in scoring and tied for 14th league-wide with 51 assists. Swetlikoff also ranked second in the WHL with 17 power play goals.

Swetlikoff participated in the Vegas Golden Knights 2022 Development Camp in July.
