Moline, IL-The Mallards send congratulations to former Quad City defenseman Louis Robitaille, who made his National Hockey League debut last night with the Washington Capitals. Robitaille is the fourth former Mallard to play in the NHL. He joins Jean Guy Trudel, Cam Severson and Sebastien Charpentier as former Mallards that went on to see NHL action. Former Mallards Frantisek Skladany, Martin Hlinka and Jason Ulmer all spent time on NHL rosters without playing in a game.
