June 20, 2013 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Green Bay Rockers News Release
Former Bullfrog Josh Prince was recalled from AAA Nashville Wednesday by the Milwaukee Brewers. This is the second time this season that Prince has been called up by the Brewers.
Prince will take the place of Milwaukee outfielder Norichika Aoki, who is currently on paternity leave with he and his wife expecting their second child.
Prince, who played for the Bullfrogs in 2008, is expected to bolster an already beat up Milwaukee outfield, with All Star Ryan Braun currently residing on the disabled list.
In Wednesday's game against the Houston Astros, Prince reached once on a walk and scored a run in the Brewers' 3-1 victory.
He is 1-8 at the plate this season in seven games played with the Brewers. The lone hit was a double on April 7. Prince has scored three runs in those seven games, one of which was the game-winning run in a game against the San Francisco Giants.
The Brewers play the rubber match of a three game series in Houston against the Astros on Thursday. Prince is expected to be with the team.
