'Force wraps up John Morrell Reading Caravan

Sioux Falls, SD (February 8, 2006) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce recently finished their annual "John Morrell Reading Caravan" as they visited several schools around the community lecturing students about the importance of reading and showing respect to others as well as to yourself by saying no to drugs and alcohol.
Skyforce head coach Dave Joerger and assistant coach Nate Tibbetts split up the players and visited with over 3,500 students as the players told stories of how reading has been and still is an important part of their life. The coaches and players also stressed the importance of respecting your friends, family, and especially teachers as they will all play an important role in your success. At the conclusion of the 30-minute program each student was given a John Morrell bookmark which will encourage students to read along with a free ticket to the game on Friday, February 17, against the Dakota Wizards. The Skyforce would like to once again thank John Morrell for sponsoring the reading program and giving these students an opportunity to see the team in action.
