Cleveland Force News Release
Midfielder Robbie Aristodemo has appeared in 75 straight games. Aristodemo appeared in 72 straight games for the San Diego Sockers.
Defender John Ball has appeared in 39 straight games. Ball appeared in all 36 games last season for Cleveland and has now played in 72 of 75 games over the last three seasons.
Forward Chris Handsor has scored a goal in every game this season with the Force and has scored a goal in seven of the last eight games. In addition, he has recorded at least a point in the last eight games.
ROAD WARRIORS:
The Force will hit the road for just the second time this season when the team travels to Milwaukee and St. Louis on Saturday and Sunday. The road games will mark the first of eight back-to-back contests on the season as well as the first of two back-to-back road games.
SECOND HALF SURGE:
With an explosive eight point second half in Saturday's victory over the Chicago Storm, the Force has now outscored their opponents by a mark of 20-12 in the third and fourth quarters. Cleveland has posted season-highs of six goals in the third quarter on October 23 and six goals in the fourth quarter on Saturday.
The Force has scored just two first half goals and has been outscored 10-2 during the first and second periods.
DANCE TEAM OUT WITH WKNR:
Members of the Force Dance team will be out with Sportstalk 850 WKNR every Monday and Thursday during the month of November with the Kenny Roda Show. On Mondays, the Dance Team will be at Scorchers Casual Eatery and Draft House located at 13855 Ridge Road in North Royalton from 4:00-6:00 p.m. while on Thursdays they will be at Around the Corner Saloon and Cafe located at 18616-20 Detroit Road in Lakewood from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Come out and join the Dance Team and WKNR during November for your chance to win prizes.
FORCE RADIO NETWORK:
Cleveland Force fans will be able to follow the club all season long on the Force Radio Network. All 40 regular season games, as well as all playoff games will be aired. The flagship station for Force soccer is WHK 1420 AM in Cleveland and 1440 AM in Warren/Youngstown. All games will be live on the Internet at the www.thesportsking.com.
