Cleveland Force News Release
CLEVELAND, OHIO- Cleveland Force goalkeeper Jim Larkin has been named the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Goalkeeper of the Week for the seven-day period ending October 26.
The 27-year-old net minder turned away 14 of 15 shots (.933 save percentage) and allowed only one goal in 66:38. As a result, the native of Toronto lowered his goals against average to 2.83 and raised his save percentage to .793 (both second in the League). Thanks in large part to Larkin's efforts, the Force leads the MISL in defense entering the week (3.5 goals allowed per game).
Larkin has now recorded three straight regular season victories dating back to last season. Jim was also named the Force Tops Sensational Player of the Game on October 24th.
