Force Goalie Records Sixth Shutout

CLEVELAND, OHIO - Cleveland Force and Milwaukee Wave United goalkeeper, Jim Larkin, recorded his sixth shutout of the season for the Milwaukee Wave United with a 2-0 victory over the El Paso Patriots on Friday July 25th. Larkin bounced back from allowing nine goals scored throughout a three game stretch to improve his record to 7-8-0 with a solid defensive stand.

Larkin's shutout put the Wave United closer to the playoffs with a record of 9-8, in second place in the division just behind Minnesota. This was his sixth shutout of the season. The win also was recorded as Milwaukee's third straight including the win on Wednesday's Open Cup over the Milwaukee Bavarians.

In fifteen games and 1350 minutes, Larkin has recorded 55 saves, allowing only 20 goals. His record in goal stands at 7-8-0.

Larkin will be back with the Force for their 2003-2004 season. Larkin returns after playing the full 35 games with 527 saves in the 2002-2003 season with the Cleveland Force.
