Jacksonville Sharks News Release
PHILADELPHIA - The Jacksonville Sharks (2-2) head north this week for a matchup with the Philadelphia Soul (1-3) on Saturday, April 19. Kickoff from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia is set for 6:00 p.m.
The Sharks and Soul last met in the 2013 American Conference Championship Game, as the Sharks fell to the Soul on Sea Best Field, 75-59, allowing Philadelphia to advance to ArenaBowl XXVI. Jacksonville did capture a win the last time the team traveled to Philadelphia's home arena, beating the Soul by a 55-53 count in Week 6 of the 2013 season. All-time, the Sharks are 2-2 against the Soul in the regular season, though Philadelphia has won both playoff matchups. This is the only meeting between these two teams in the 2014 regular season.
