
Flying Tigers Outfielder Christin Stewart Named Florida State League Player of the Week

Lakeland, FL - Lakeland Flying Tigers outfielder Christin Stewart was named Florida State League (FSL) Player of the Week. The FSL selection was for the period of May 9-15.
Stewart hit .348 (8-23) with two doubles and four home runs in eight games. He scored five runs and knocked in 10. Stewart currently leads all of Minor League Baseball with 13 home runs. This is Stewart's second professional season. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the first round of the June 2015 draft while attending the University of Tennessee where he was a first-team All-SEC Conference selection as a sophomore and junior.
