
Flying Tiger Jordan Lennerton Named FSL Player of the Week

Lakeland, FL - Lakeland Flying Tiger First Baseman Jordan Lennerton was named Florida State League Player of the Week by the Florida State League (FSL) today. The selection was for the period of August 16-22.
During the week Lennerton batted .406 collecting 13 hits in 32 plate appearances. His hits included five homeruns and two doubles. He scored 7 times and drove in nine runs. His slugging percentage was .938 and had an on-base percentage of .513. Lennerton hit two game- winning homers during the week. His 14th inning homer at Clearwater on August 17 and his 10th inning homer at Brevard on August 20 helped the Flying Tigers win both series.
This is Lennerton's third professional season. He was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 33rd round of the June 2008 draft out of Oregon State University. Lennerton was born in Langley, British Columbia.
