
Flyers Recall Center Jonathon Kalinski

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that the Flyers have recalled center Jonathon Kalinski from loan with Adirondack. Kalinski will be available to play in Saturday night's Flyers-Thrashers game at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
Kalinski, 22, has one goal and three assists for four points in 15 games with Adirondack this season. In 2008-09, he registered three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in 12 games with the Flyers and made his NHL debut on November 21, 2008 at Buffalo. He missed 18 games with the Flyers due to a thigh injury.
He also posted 17 points (10 goals, 7 assists) in 46 regular season games with the Flyers' AHL affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms and three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in four Calder Cup Playoff games last season. Over parts of three seasons with the Phantoms (2007-08 to 2009-10), Kalinski has recorded 24 points (11 goals, 13 assists) and 55 penalty minutes in 66 career games and six points (2 goals, 4 assists) in 14 Calder Cup Playoff games.
A native of Bonnyville, Alberta, Kalinski was selected by the Flyers in the sixth round (152nd overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He signed an entry-level contract with the Flyers on March 30, 2008.
Adirondack is in Hershey on Saturday, November 28th as they battle the Bears for the second straight night; face off is scheduled for 7:00 pm at the Giant Center. The Phantoms next home game at the Glens Falls Civic Center is another Time Warner Cable Cup showdown with the Albany River Rats on Saturday, December 5th at 7:00 pm.
