
Florida Panthers Sign Bill Thomas to NHL Contract

SUNRISE, FL (December 20, 2011) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with right wing Bill Thomas.
Thomas, 28, has played in 25 games with the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL this season scoring nine goals with eight assists and 17 PIM. For his career in the National Hockey League, the Pittsburgh, PA native has appeared in 80 games, with Phoenix (2005-08), Pittsburgh (2008-09), and Florida (2010-11), registering 27 points (15-12-27) and 18 PIM. He signed an AHL contract with the Rampage on Sept. 13, 2011.
