NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud affiliate of the National Hockey League's Washington Capitals, have announced Saturday that forward Rob Flick has rejoined the team after being released from a professional tryout agreement with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The forward, who leads South Carolina with 59 points (29 goals, 30 assists) through 59 ECHL games this season, is expected to be in the lineup for Saturday night's regular season finale against Cincinnati at 7:05 p.m.

While with Manitoba, Flick appeared in five games and scored one goal to go along with seven penalty minutes.

The Moose was Flick's fourth career AHL squad, as he had previously played in a total of 279 games over five seasons with the Rockford Ice Hogs, Providence Bruins and Portland Pirates. The London, Ont. native has accumulated 71 points (39 goals, 32 assists) during his time in the AHL.

In addition to leading the Stingrays in scoring, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward is also first on the team with 203 shots on goal and a +17 rating.

Flick was originally selected in the fourth round (120th overall) by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2010 NHL Draft.

Before turning pro, the forward played three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors from 2008-11. Flick suited up for 181 career OHL games, scoring 99 points (46 goals, 53 assists).
