Utah Flash News Release
OREM, Utah, March 25, 2010 - The Utah Flash announced today that they have re-acquired guard Joe Darger. Darger played for the Flash in three games earlier this season.
Darger, a product of the Mountain West Conference, was selected by Utah in the fifth round of the 2009-10 NBA Development League draft. He was waived from the team during training camp, but has continued to be a practice player for the Flash since being waved. Darger, a rookie out of UNLV, started all 32 games of his senior year, averaging 9.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
Darger will fill a roster spot recently vacated by Kosta Koufos who was recalled to the Utah Jazz.
The Flash will host the Idaho Stampede Friday and Saturday this week. Tip-off for both games is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the McKay Events Center.
