OREM, Utah - The Utah Flash beat the Idaho Stampede for the third straight time this week with a 113-104 victory Saturday night at the McKay Events Center.

"Our guys played with unbelievable energy throughout the entire game tonight, and it's hard to win back to back games in any league let alone three straight times," said Utah Flash Head Coach Brad Jones. "I thought that from last Wednesday till today our team has had terrific focus and terrific togetherness."

The Utah Flash started the game with hot shooting and jumped out to an early eleven-point lead midway through the first quarter. Idaho closed the gap behind Coby Karl's seven first quarter points but trailed by five at the end of the quarter with the score 30-25. Full court pressure from Idaho led to an 11-2 run midway through the second quarter that cut the Utah lead to just one point. The Flash committed numerous turnovers but finished the quarter strong and extended the lead to 57-51 at halftime. Bennet Davis led the Flash with 15 first half points and Donell Taylor scored nine first half points for Idaho.

Idaho couldn't cut into the lead as the Flash executed down the stretch and came away with the 113- 104 victory. The Flash never let Idaho get closer then eight points in the fourth quarter. Idaho was led by Karl's 18 points and Joe Dabbert's 10 points and 13 rebounds. The Flash were led by Davis and Greene's 21 points a piece.
