Utah is 25-15 overall and 14-6 at home. Anaheim is 15-30 and 6-15 on the road.
Dead Heat
The Flash and the Idaho Stampede are tied for the top spot in the NBADL West Division with the Flash ahead in the loss column by two games (15 to Idaho's 17). The Stampede has 27 wins and the Flash has 25. Utah's .625 winning percentage gives the Flash the edge and the current second overall seed in the NBA D-League Playoff picture. Colorado (30-12) clinched a spot in the 2009 postseason with a 119-103 win over Erie on Friday.
NBA Time
Five players on the current Flash roster have NBA regular season game experience. Ronald Dupree has played in 154 games with Chicago, Detroit, Minnesota and Seattle. Kosta Koufos and Morris Almond have played in 48 and 34 games, respectively, for the Utah Jazz. James Lang played in 11 games with Washington.
The Series
The Flash has won all four meetings with Anaheim this season and leads the all-time series 10-2.
Last Meeting
The Flash shot 56-percent from the floor and tied a franchise record with 13 blocked shots in a 109-82 win over Anaheim last night at the McKay Events Center.
Big First Night
Utah Jazz rookie Kosta Koufos converted 10-of-14 field goal attempts, scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds in his first game on assignment with the Flash in the win over Anaheim on Friday night. The former Ohio State Buckeye also blocked three shots in his first night in a Flash uniform.
Filling Up a Stat Line
Boston Celtics rookie JR Giddens made the most of the first night of his third assignment to the Flash this season by dishing out a season-best 11 assists and eqauling his season high with five blocked shots. He also got four rebounds and made 4-of-8 field goal attempts in 34 minutes.
First and 10
For the first time in franchise history the Flash is both in first place in its division and 10 games over .500.
Going For 50
A victory in tonight's game would be number 50 for Brad Jones as head coach of the Flash.
