Flamingo Fundraiser Begins "Flocking" For Alzheimer's Association

Alzheimer's disease is relentless and so are we! Join Team Flockers for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's©, the worlds largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

Team Flockers are doing more than just walking-they are flocking for a cause! The team will be delivering the flock to local businesses around the city. Once flocked, the business can make a modest donation to have the flock removed or double the donation and choose who gets flocked next. All proceeds will go to the Walk to End Alzheimer's©. Sales began June 1, 2017 and will extend through June 30, 2017. The main event sponsors include Albuquerque businesses: Stellar Senior Housing Experts and Senior.One, with collateral designed by ABQ Web Hosting.

The first official flocking will take place at Isotopes Park on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 am. Team Flockers will also be present for the baseball game, which will take place later in the day at 7:05 pm to help provide awareness and "Alzheimer's Awareness Swag."
