SAINT JOHN, NB - The Saint John Flames tonight bested their Canadian Division Rivals, the Manitoba Moose, by a score of 4-2 for the second time in as many nights. The Flames hosted the Moose in the second game of the weekend series between the clubs at Harbour Station.
Flames left wing Oleg Saprykin followed up his 2 assist, First Star performance from Friday night with a 4 point performance for the 4,000+ fans that attended the game. Saprykin recorded 1 goal and 3 assists in the game to pace the Flames and again was recognized as the game's First Star. Also scoring for the Flames were Micki DuPont (his first game since being assigned by Calgary), Jason Morgan and Ladislav Kohn, each collecting their first tallies of the season.
Replying for Manitoba were Pat Kavanaugh and Justin Kurtz with their firsts of the season.
