\Flames Recall Centre Paul Byron

Calgary, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled centre Paul Byron from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League and reassigned centre Ben Street to Abbotsford.
Byron, a native of Ottawa, Ontario, has played 35 games with the Abbotsford Heat this season scoring six goals and nine assists for 15 points and 34 penalty minutes. Byron has played 30 career NHL games, 22 with the Calgary Flames last season. He has scored four goals and added three assists for seven points in his 30 career NHL games.
The Calgary Flames also acknowledged goaltender Danny Taylor has been placed on waivers. Miikka Kiprusoff's injury status has been revised as a mild grade 2 sprain of his MCL and is expected to be out an additional two weeks.
