
Flames Assign Markus Granlund to Abbotsford

Abbotsford Heat News Release
Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned centre Markus Granlund to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
Granlund has been cleared medically to play and will rejoin the Abbotsford Heat. He played his first NHL games this season and recorded his first NHL goal and assist during his seven games with the Flames before succumbing to injury. Prior to his call-up, he led all Heat players with 23 goals and 21 assists for 44 points in 50 games.
