Friday, Dec. 8 Rockford 1 vs. PH 4
While the IceHogs scored first, the Flags had the last laugh, scoring 4 unanswered goals in the third to give them their 3rd straight win at home. Robert Snowball's fight with Erick Lizon in the second set off an enthusiastic home crowd of 1,819 fans. Mike Olynyk, Mark Cadotte, Josh Elzinga and Colt King were the goal-getters for Port Huron, with Olynyk's coming on a power play, and King's on an empty-net. Cadotte, King and Olynyk were named the 3 Stars of the Game.
Saturday, Dec. 0 PH 4 vs. Muskegon 5 (SOL)
The Flags traveled to Muskegon on Saturday to take on the league-leading Muskegon Fury who had not lost a game since Nov. 23. Olynyk and King put the Flags up 2-0 in the first, with goals coming about 2 minutes apart. Philippe Plante answered back with 20 seconds left in the period, on a power play. Adam Smyth tied up the game for the Fury, 48 seconds into the second; however Garett Cameron returned the favor just six seconds later, sending the Flags ahead 3-2. Muskegon rounded out the second with goals from Dave Noel-Bernier and Todd Robinson. In the third, King scored the tying goal with about 5 minutes left, sending the game into a shoot-out. Both teams scored twice in the first five shooters, requiring a second contest of 2 shots per team.

Sunday, Dec. 10 Kalamazoo 4 vs. PH 0
The visiting Kalamazoo Wings ended the Flags home winning streak, with a pair of goals from Kory Karlander and another two from Casey Handrahan and Nick Toneys. Port Huron's Colt King was awarded Third Star of the Game for his hustle and effort on the ice.

Colt returned from a 21-day IR to double his season points in his first 2 games back. His 3 goals and 2 assists lifted the Flags to a 1-1-1 weekend and moved him to the 4th leading scorer in the team. His physical presence was also felt, as he upended opponents and checked his way through every game. He was named in the top 3 stars of the game in every contest this weekend.

Dustin's win at home against Rockford gave the Flags a 3-game winning streak at McMorran, in which he allowed just one goal in 9 periods of play. His effort in the shootout at Muskegon prevented 4 of the Fury's 7 shooters from capitalizing. He is fifth in the league with a 2.69 GAA. This is his 6th straight award as Flags Goalie of the Week.
Team Notes
- Until Sunday, the Flags held a 3-game winning streak at home, the longest current in the UHL
- King's 5 point weekend came in his first time on the ice since Nov. 4 when he injured his wrist.
- Josh Elzinga scored his second goal of the season on Friday, giving him 5 points on the season, and a +5 rating
- The Flags have not yet lost to Rockford at home. In their previous contest, Port Huron won 6-3.
- Ryan Markham is still 8th in the league in Rookie Scoring, with 14 points.
