Amarillo Dillas News Release
Amarillo, TX - The United League has released the 2008 ULB All-Star Team.
The players consist of left fielder Keith Brachold, shortstop Danny Bravo, third baseman Gary Schneidmiller, starting pitchers Ronald Lowe and Micah Posey. "This is a great accomplishment for these players," said General Manager Mark Lee. "I hope our players enjoy all the all-star festivities that are planned, these guys have earned it." The Dillas' five all-stars are the most of any team in the ULB. "Having the most all-stars of any team on the all-star roster shows how great of a season the Dillas have had up to this point," Lee said.
The ULB all-stars will take on the Golden League all-stars at Foster Field in San Angelo on July 15. This will be the first time the two independent leagues face off in an all-star game. First pitch for the game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
