San Angelo Colts News Release

Harlingen, Texas - For the second day in a row here, and the fourth straight day overall, the Colts will not play baseball. Once again, torrential rains and an unplayable Harlingen Field led to a postponement, with tonight's scheduled doubleheader to be made up later.

After the Colts lost last Thursday in Edinburg, they were rained out Friday and Saturday, and then had the series opener against the 'Wings postponed Sunday. The teams are now scheduled to make up one of the games Tuesday as part of a doubleheader with two seven-inning games, beginning at 6:05 p.m.

The other game will be made up later in the year, either on an off-day August 11, with the Colts scheduled to play in Harlingen the 12-14, or during one of the WhiteWings' two more visits to San Angelo, from July 24-26 and August 5-7.

Tomorrow's starting pitchers are scheduled to righty Luke Massetti (4-3) and lefty Frank James (3-3) against right-hander Alex Gett (1-6) and left-hander Jorge Lugo (3-2) for the WhiteWings.

The Colts return home to Foster Field for a three-game series against Laredo, beginning Wednesday, July 9. Fans coming that night can receive a haircut from Sport Clips in return for a small donation to charity. Game time is 7:05 p.m. CT. Advertising, ticket, and group information are available by calling the box office at (325) 942-6587. All Colts games are broadcast live on "Cool 100" - KCLL 100.1 FM and online at the Colts' official website, www.sanangelocolts.com, which is updated daily with the latest team news.
