
Five Cyclones Named to NYPL All-Star Game

The New York-Penn League announced the rosters for the upcoming NYPL All-Star Game at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, CT and the Brooklyn Cyclones will be well represented. Five of Brooklyn's "Boys of Summer" will represent the National League Affiliates in the game, including RHP Miller Diaz who will be the starting pitcher for the NL Squad, which will still feature Houston Astros prospects despite their recent transfer to the American League.
Other Cyclones representatives include 2B L.J. Mazzilli, RHP John Gant, RHP Rob Gsellman and LHP John Mincone.
In addition to those players, Manager Rich Donnelly, Pitching Coach Marc Valdes, Batting Coach Bobby Malek and Athletic Trainer Eric Velazquez will serve as the coaching staff for the National League affiliates.
The game will be played on Tuesday, August 13th at Thomas J. Dodd Stadium in Connecticut. The Cyclones are currently offering a ticket and transportation package to the game for just $40. For more information, or to reserve your spot, call the Cyclones at 718-37-BKLYN.
