Fisher's Big Night Lifts Jammers into First

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - Ryan Fisher went 3-for-3 and drove in four runs in the Jammers' 5-4 victory over the Connecticut Tigers. The victory propelled Jamestown into first place in the Pinckney Division after the Williamsport Crosscutters lost, 8-3.

Connecticut scored two runs in the top of the first inning and led 2-0 through four innings. Then the Jammers bats went to work, scoring four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead.

Danny Black drove in a run with a fielder's choice ground ball and two batters later, Fisher hit a bases-loaded triple to make it 4-2 Jamestown.

The Tigers scored one run in the sixth to make it 3-2 and one in the seventh to tie the game before Fisher delivered again. He doubled in the bottom of the seventh, scoring Black with the eventual winning run.

Michael Brady pitched a scoreless eighth and Jordan Conley pitched a scoreless ninth for his 10th save of the season.
