New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Trentonâ The rains which have fallen for three days in New Jersey left the Mercer County Waterfront Park unplayable for today's scheduled doubleheader between the Eastern League's New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Trenton Thunder. The teams will attempt to play a doubleheader on Wednesday in Trenton beginning at 5:05pm. The teams will also make up a rained out contest on one of New Hampshire's future trips to Trenton.
New Hampshire Manager Mike Basso will start RHP Cameron Reimers and RHP Gustavo Chacin in Wednesday's doubleheader. Reimers (1-0) won last Thursday's opener 3-2 at New Britain. Chacin (0-0) will also make his second start. He went four innings as the starter in Friday's 3-2 win at New Britain. The Thunder will counter with RHP Chen-ming Wang (0-0) in the opener, and LHP Matt Smith (0-0) in the nightcap.
