Altoona Curve News Release
(ALTOONA, PA) -- For the second time in as many days Tuesday, the Altoona Curve and Norwich Navigators had their scheduled action postponed by rain.
Tuesday's doubleheader, which was slated to make up for a rainout on Monday, was lost to steady, day-long rain that fell at Blair County Ballpark.
One of the two games will be made up Wednesday as part of a doubleheader at 12 noon. The gates will open at 11 a.m.
The other game will be made up when the Curve makes its lone trip to Norwich April 26-28.
Anyone holding tickets dated April 13, 2004 may exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value, based on availability, to a future 2004 Curve regular season home game.
The pitching matchups for Wednesday's doubleheader have changed slightly. Altoona will still go with right-handers Landon Jacobsen (Game One) and Ian Snell (Game Two). Norwich will counter with right-hander Chris Begg and lefty Josh Habel.
