New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, NH- New Hampshire Fisher Cats majority owner Art Solomon today announced that the team has purchased the parcel of land immediately adjacent to the main entrance of Merchantsauto.com Stadium from Manchester Downtown Visions. The property is located between the Merrimack River and the main entrance to the stadium.
"We acquired this parcel of land both to avoid any interference with our fans' ability to access and enjoy the ballpark and, in the future, to create a use for the area that will complement the stadium," said Solomon.
The Fisher Cats host the Connecticut Defenders, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, tonight at 6:35pm. Tonight is U.S. Cellular Most Improved Student Night, and fans can play USA Subs Baseball Bingo. To purchase tickets, call (603) 641-2005 or visit www.nhfishercats.com.
