First Place Hops Look for Fourth Straight Win on National Television

Hillsboro enters play this afternoon tied atop the Northwest League South Division. First pitch today is at 4:05 PM against the Spokane Indians at Ron Tonkin Field. The game will be broadcast nationally on American Sports Network. The Hops are the only minor league affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the only team in the Northwest League to have its game featured on national television this season.

On Frontier it will be channel 463, Comcast channel 302, and locally on MeTV at channel 2.2. The game is also available on radio, starting at 3:35 PM on Rip City Radio 620 AM and at www.ripcityradio.com.

Hillsboro has taken the first three games of a five game series with visiting Spokane. Carlos Hernandez (0-1, 2.63) starts for Hillsboro and is 10th in the Northwest League in earned run average.

The Hops are 14-10, which is just one game off the best record in the Northwest League of 15-9, held by the Everett Aquasox of the Northwest League North Division.
