Fireworks Headline Thursday's Spikes Doubleheader

Don't miss the fun and excitement of Spikes baseball at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park tonight, with bonus baseball for all and fireworks after the game!

Due to Wednesday's night game with the Oneonta Tigers being postponed due to rain, the Spikes and Tigers will play a pair of seven-inning games tonight, starting at 5:05 p.m. Gates will open at 4 p.m.

It's a Kids Eat Free Thursday, presented by FOX 8/ABC 23. All kids ages 12 and under will get a voucher good for a FREE hot dog, chips and small soda as they come through the gates. Plus, nationally syndicated antiques columnist Dr. Lori will be on hand to appraise one item per fan for free on, what else, Dr. Lori's Anitque Appraisal Night. Join us in honoring our eastern neighbors, too, on Penns Valley Night at the ballpark.

Then, to top it all off, after you get two games for the price of one, a spectacular fireworks display will light up the night skies over Happy Valley in the Spikes' final home date before the 2009 New York-Penn League All-Star Game.

Great seats are available for tonight's game, as well as the All-Star Game. Tickets are also available to the All-Star Mountain Bash, a rare chance to meet All-Star players, coaches and VIP's at the Tussey Mountain Ski Resort from 4-9 p.m. on Monday, August 17. Your all-inclusive Mountain Bash ticket also includes a fabulous all-you-can-eat and drink menu with soda, beer, wine and water available, plus live musical entertainment on the Tussey Mountain Main Stage and other great activities around the mountain.
