
Fireworks Friday Kicks off Homestand with Division Rivals

KODAK, Tenn. - Fresh off an exciting Fourth of July weekend, the First-Half Southern League North Division Champions Tennessee Smokies return home Friday, July 8, to kick off a four-game homestand against the Chattanooga Lookouts. Fireworks Friday, "Knox Harley Night" and $1 Hot Dogs are some of the happenings in this week's homestand at Smokies Park.
Put down the controller and turn your video game console off, and head out to the park as we venture into the world of the gamer for Video Game Night at 7:15 Friday! Money will be flying everywhere at Smokies Park, as we give lucky fans a chance to go home with some extra cash with the Citizens National Bank Money Grab. Hang around after the game as we light up the sky as part of Fireworks Friday, presented by Pepsi, Coors Light, WIVK, WVLT TV 8, and the Knoxville News-Sentinel!
Saturday night is "Knox Harley Davidson Night" at the ballpark, where a few lucky fans in attendance at the Smokies' 6:15 game will be randomly selected for the chance to win a Harley Davidson motorcycle, courtesy of Knoxville Harley Davidson.
We'll turn things over to the kids for the 5:00 game Sunday, as we let them run the show for the night! It's Food City Family Night, where you can purchase a Peter Pan Peanut Butter item from Food City, show the item or receipt at the ticket window, and receive buy one, get one free offer compliments of Food City.
The release of the final Harry Potter movie is right around the corner, and the Smokies will prepare by celebrating the Wonderful World of Wizardry at 7:15 Monday Night! For every $100 you spend at Hall's Salvage, you'll receive four free bleacher seats as part of Hall's Salvage Night. Blount County residents can present a photo ID or pay stub to the box office and receive $2 off any regularly priced ticket as part of Blount County Night, presented by The Maryville Daily-Times.
