ABOUT LAST GAME: Columbia tied a franchise record with four home runs in one game on Sunday. The Fireflies defeated the Legends 5-3 in the series opener at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. Raphael Gladu (Top 2), Edgardo Fermin (Top 3), Quinn Brodey (Top 4), and Blake Tiberi (Top 5) all blasted homers in the win.

- The only four-homer game in Fireflies franchise history was on May 24, 2016. Luis Ortega, Dash Winningham, Ivan Wilson, and Kevin Kaczmarski were responsible for the long balls.

UNTOUCHABLE: Zac Grotz also shined on Sunday afternoon against Lexington. The righty became the second Firefly to last eight innings on the mound. Grotz struck out six batters, allowed just two runs, and did not walk a batter. David Peterson was the other Firefly that tossed eight frames (June 9 - 8 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 10 K).

NO Ks: Not a single Columbia batter struck out on Friday. That's the first time that's occurred in franchise history (349 games).

RAPH-TASTIC: Outfielder Raphael Gladu has been one of the best hitters in the league the last month and a half. The Canadian is now hitting .320 over his last 33 games (since May 9). He's hit safely in 29 of those 33 games.

REINFORCEMENTS: Columbia's bullpen has been extremely reliable over the last 13 games

- 42.0 IP, 34 H, 9 ER, 12 BB, 44 K ... *1.92 ERA*

FIREFLIES ALL-STAR RECAP: The Southern Division All-Stars defeated the Northern Division 9-5 in Greensboro on Tuesday, June 19.

- For the third straight year (P.J. Conlon - 2016, Merandy Gonzalez - 2017), a Firefly was on the mound to start the South Atlantic League All-Star Game. Joe Cavallaro represented the South Division and tossed the first inning of the game.

- Jeremy Vasquez also inked his name among the star-studded field. The 21-year-old added an insurance run with a solo home run in the ninth inning.

- Stephen Villines and Trey Cobb were impressive out of the bullpen. Villines entered the game with two outs in the seventh inning and struck out the only batter he faced in his outing. Cobb closed the door, recording the final two outs of the game.
