
FireAntz Re-Sign Tamblyn

The Fayetteville FireAntz, of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), announced Wednesday that the team has re-signed forward Corey Tamblyn. Terms of the deal have not been released, per club policy. With the signing, the FireAntz are now at 23 players, including eight returners, for the upcoming season.
Tamblyn, 25, is a 5'11'', 190-pound forward from Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Last season, split between the FireAntz, the Peoria Rivermen and the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League (CHL) Tamblyn combined for 11 goals, 19 assists, 30 points and 59 penalty minutes in 59 games played.
"Corey is a tremendously talented hockey player." Head Coach Emery Olauson added, "I expect, this year, for that talent to translate into him having a breakout season."
